The camera amplifies contrasts: a complexion that is too shiny or too matte shows immediately. Jen adapts textures, contouring and light to the type of shoot (studio, outdoor, flash, natural light) so the skin looks real, sharp and luminous.

She also creates more creative make-up if the project calls for it: bold colours, graphic eyes, textured effects.

Before the shoot: the brief

Tell me about the photographer, the location, the mood and your references. A few images are enough to define the style: natural, editorial, glamorous, very colourful. If several looks are planned, we schedule them in advance to save time.

On site, until the last photo

Depending on the project, Jen can stay during the shoot for touch-ups: shine, lips, stray hairs. You stay focused on posing while she makes sure the face stays perfect.

Coordinating with the team

When several people work on the shoot, the easiest approach is to talk early: photographer, stylist, hairdresser, location. Jen agrees the timing of each look so that make-up never delays the session. For outdoor shoots she takes daylight and heat into account so the skin stays crisp until the last frames.

Allow a little more time for each change of look.
